Considering she’s a new face, I already mentioned / wrote about Vita, and not few times in fact. It’s been about some runway appearances, and a couple of editorials as well. And… yep, good question, why? Pictures speak louder than words, and with Vita isn’t so hard to get why, why I wrote about her as often as I did, and why I love her the way I do.

What I love about Vita is, well, at a very first glance you may just think “Awww, how cute!”, but that would objectively a mistake, not ‘cause she’s not cute or pretty, but simply ‘cause Vita is a lot more than just that. To get what I mean, here two editorials I already wrote about, which show that fresh and adorable / delicate / whatever in that direction vibe you may have seen or be attracted by at that very first glance,

and a totally different dimension, still kind of “raw” and “in progress”, but already an undeniable and remarkable factor talking about Vita.

Now, let me see… I may use very similar words and express after all the same concept, so better do a copy & paste of what I already had the chance to write:

She is, absolutely. And as you can see it’s not just about her beauty, it’s about what she can express and embody as well. The fresh vibe blends with her strong intensity like I’ve rarely seen; it’s an hypnotic and enchanting harmony, somehow indescribable after all.

Well… once I say considerations about the opportunity to take some specific pictures at such an age are everything but wrong imo (and that, wait, have I said it? I guess not, so: I love her hair!), well, what comes out is her outstanding figure; her numbers say 1.73 – 76/57/84, but considering her body structure and proportions this is one of those cases where height is not a factor, not really.

And any positive consideration in that direction is good for runway as well, ‘cause yep, a <1.75 model can show great things, totally – wait, and if she’s Vita it’s absolutely easier. As I saw her @ Tory Burch

I totally fell in love, she embodied the collection for the best, she showed a great attitude, “Just like heaven” opened the show, and I couldn’t find a better expression to describe what I felt. I like so much her soft expressivity on the runway, that kind of “distant apathy” that some models express in such a great way, Vita too. She’s a new face after all, but no lack of confidence, nothing like looking kind of uncomfortable, she seems so calm and collected; I personally think if there are problems are about walk, but not her attitude for sure…

where, how can I say that?, she somehow showed the elegant, sophisticated, somehow tough and refined intensity you may expect from a Russian model like her.

Before any conclusion, better face some kind of “commercial dimension” too, where well, she revealed a disarming (in the good sense of the word) maturity,

but at the same time she showed great part of her limits imo, so about her solidity and reliability, but you know, that’s what development is all about, so no worries.

“You can find Vita interesting and questionable from so many points of view, it’s about her expressivity, the kind of beauty she embodies, body structure, and so on”, ok, but… what I honestly find questionable is not about her, but what’s going to be of her. So no doubts about her potentialities, about the amazing model Vita already demonstrated to be, it’s simply going to be a matter of chances and opportunities, of… if I think about the future, I have the feeling so far Vita just showed a very little part of the astonishing model in fact she is, and the best is yet to come.

So yep, she’s got to develop, sure, improve the way she poses, expressivity, after all I wrote about her as a “work in progress” previously, but there are things you can’t change, you have or not, and Vika absolutely has imo. Plus, she’s unique; Vita Sidorkina really is. Take a look at some shots where she appears to be so pretty and adorable, and Hermès show then, and the intensity she can express, her inscrutable and impenetrable gaze, the mature, intriguing, aware, strong and self-confident femininity she embodies, and she’s so lovely, gracious, and her austere sensuality - it’s such a tough sweetness. And I love it.
