Yep, yesterday night I finally had some time to answer emails, spend something like an hour chatting with a friend, and take a look at what’s new talking about fashion and models. Well, I have to say… if we exclude things I already saw few days ago, so some interesting FW 12/13 campaigns and a couple of Haute Couture shows (if talking about the first there will be time, I don’t know if I’ll have the opportunity to post about HC shows, since I’d as usually like to do decent posts with a couple of decent and thorough considerations), I have to say nothing really… yep, I liked some things, but nothing really stood out.
So I decided for something about a model I certainly like, in an editorial I had the chance to flip through right before leaving (I guess where I am now there would be no way to find a magazine like that, and maybe even Vogue…). I mean, I already had the chance to see the covers online,

but I had no idea of what actually was in the magazine. If we talk about Theres the editorials are actually two,

and… here what they are about:

Briefly (these days I guess brevity will somehow be my trademark) I have to say there are things I liked and some I liked less. Talking about what I preferred, certainly there is the way it powerfully comes out Theres’ best dimension, so a captivating, elegantly seducing and drop dead ravishing one. From this point of view she definitely is a model whose qualities are so terrifically crystal clear I guess there isn’t a lot more to say.
That said – what I liked less. If there’s a reason why I adore Theres is… ok the outstanding and simply astonishing body, the captivating beauty, but we talk about a beauty not exactly like others. Like few other models she represent a beauty… if for example another very interesting model like Irina Nikolaeva (one of my fav models at the moment for the record) is a stunning with an edgy beauty, Theres powerfully proposes something else, and we talk about a beauty somehow classic, but “classic” not in a 90s (or commercial) acceptation, no, we have to go a little farther back in time, and consider its ancient nature and powerful charm. In fact her face has features at the same time solid and showing a quite severe forceful austerity that I simply love; and what I didn’t like so much here is the fact all these interesting aspects of her have somehow been neutralized or at least not highlighted (which in her case most of the times simply means marvelously show in its naturally powerful suggestions…) for the best, or the way I would have certainly preferred. But ok, Theres certainly is one of those models for whom I apply the “Any News is Good News” motto… and not a priori, but ‘cause so far most of the times I certainly haven’t been disappointed.
